Instructional Designer/Technical Writer
We have a client in need of an experienced senior-level Instructional Designers/Sr. Technical Writer to come in and help them develop revamp the software they use to collect the data and redo the their content to the current version of their software. They will want this person to investigate both packaged software as well as open source tools to find the best solution for this growing software company. They want to be able to incorporate web tutorials and videos to educate the users. This person will first establish the tool to be used and then put it to work. This person is expected to develop content consistent with a design that will coordinate with their marketing department to create a consistent and cohesive message. You will work with the development team, learn the product by playing with it yourself, understand common trouble/help calls and use screen shots, videos, and tutorials that all tie into the web site. You will need to have the type of personality where you pick things up quickly and collaborate with others to complete the work at hand. Strong interpersonal communication skills, especially active listening, are critical. Ability to work quickly and accurately under deadlines is required. Experience using a structured instructional design methodology including performance-based objectives and reference materials is desired.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct job, task and needs analysis to determine learning needs, and work with senior management and employees to identify learning and performance needs in accordance with business priorities.
Lead the design and implementation of curriculum and develop appropriate plans to assist in the achievement of organizational goals.
Lead creation and updating of current instructional/developmental strategies, documents, and processes.
Work with subject matter experts to gather, analyze, and organize content that will be designed and developed into learning content tailored to target audience.
Work with other groups such as Development, Support, and Marketing to plan and execute objectives and solicit feedback and requirements.
Work with other teams to ensure consistency in presentation and delivery mechanisms for learning content.
Ensure the production of quality learning content.
Practical experience applying instructional design and curriculum development methodologies, and learning strategies in corporate learning programs.
Proven effectiveness in collaborating, negotiating, and interviewing customers to solicit required learning content.
Requires organizational agility (able to identify and work with many groups to achieve results), the ability to lead and drive change and a proven ability to maneuver through unstructured problems and create the necessary structure to drive results.
Strong writing skills and interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency with MS Office tools and collaboration and learning technology.
Pluses: Degree is highly desired. Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent with an advanced degree preferred in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

We are currently recruiting for a Functional SAP AFS Consultant for a full-time role based in the LA valley near the Ventura County border. This position is a FT or “perm” position.
This person will work on the AFS team and will ideally have a variety of experience with other these modules such as: SD, MM, FICO (except consolidation), and MDM. The more experience the better. The role will be to carry out preliminary analysis, review and optimize the SAP AFS systems, make recommendations to management by means of the drawing up and developing IT plans and architecture set-up.
